Effectively from August 1, 2022, The American Anti-Corruption Institute (AACI) extended the coverage of the Certified Anti-Corruption Fellow (CACF) certification program to cover professionals. Professionals

The CACF is an anti-corruption certification that aims to help participating colleges, universities, and professionals who want to engage intelligently in the fight against corruption. CACF is typically used by professionals in middle and upper management to improve their anti-corruption intelligence. The higher the level of the professional’s anti-corruption knowledge and skills, the better the quality of his decisions. A CACF candidate should prepare properly to sit and pass the CACF exam.

The CACF exam is proctored and designed to test online the anti-corruption intelligence (ACI) of CACF candidates. ACI means “the minimum optimum knowledge a professional should have to avoid fraud and corruption intelligently.” Such knowledge includes the proper blend of internal control, anti-fraud, governance, decision making, and relevant international legal perspectives. The CACF emphasizes the concept of deterrence and prevention.

Eligibility Requirements

A Certified Anti-Corruption Fellow (CACF) candidate shall meet all the CACF eligibility requirements. A CACF shall 

1. Have a bachelor degree from an accredited college or university, and
2. Pass the Certified Anti-Corruption Fellow ®©(CACF) ®© proctored online exam, and
3. Provide an assertion to a non-prior indictment in any act to the discredit of the code of ethics of The Institute, and
4. Abide by The AACI code of ethics. 

Parameters of the CACF Exam

1. It is a closed book and a proctored online exam.    
   
2. The entire exam consists of 50 (Fifty) multiple choice and true/false questions.    
   
3. It is limited to 65 (Sixty Five) minutes. Once you start the exam, it will stop automatically after 65 minutes.    
   
4. You cannot pause and resume later.    
5. You must attempt each question to move forward. However, you will not be able to go backward.    
   
6. You can take the exam once, no later than December 31st of the year of registration. 
7. The passing score on the exam is 75% or 38 questions out of 50.
8. When you pass the exam, you may download the CACF certificate.

CACF Review Course and Exam Fee

CACF Fee

There are two fee options.

Option 1–Self-study with CACF Exam: USD 325. It covers the following:

1. The CACF review textbook, a PDF copy of the current edition. 
2. One session of 15 practice questions.
3. CACF exam proctoring fee.
4. CACF certificate when you pass the exam (PDF format) issued by The American Anti-Corruption Institute (AACI).

Option 2– CACF Review Course and Exam: USD 625. It covers the following:

1. All that is stated in option 1, and 
2. Six hours of intensive live online sessions (CACF review course) are delivered by senior professionals of Effective Knowledge Against Corruption (EKAC) or qualified members of TheAmerican Anti-Corruption Institute (AACI), and 
3. Certificate of Attendance.

CACF Registration and Exam

CACF candidates who do NOT reside in the United States must register for the CACF through Effective Knowledge Against Corruption (EKAC). 

CACF Registration

1. Fill, complete, and submit the CACF application (click here to start the application process), 
2. The AACI staff will send you the CACF fee payment details. 
3. We will email you a CACF registration code once we receive your payment so that you can proceed with the CACF registration on The American Anti-Corruption Institute (AACI) Exam Unit portal.

CACF Exam

1. A CACF candidate shall obtain a registration code from The AACI Exam Unit. 
2. The registration code is the password to register for the CACF on The AACI's Exam Unit’s portal.
3. Upon registration, you will be able to download the current edition of the CACF Review textbook and start the practice session for the CACF exam.
4. The CACF exam will be proctored by a member or professional associate of The AACI via Zoom or in person.
5. The CACF candidate must abide by The AACI’s guidelines for sitting for the CACM exam via Zoom (Click here).

Important:

If the test center staff has questions about the identification presented, you may be asked for additional proof of identity. You may be refused access to an examination and forfeit the examination fee for that session if the staff believes that you have not proven your identity. Admittance to the test center and examination does not imply that your identification is valid or that your scores will be reported if subsequent investigations reveal impersonation or forgery. 

Schedule Your CACF Exam

Contact The AACI at exam@THEAACI.com to schedule your CACF exam. At least 15 days should be allowed before you are scheduled to sit for the exam.

CACM Review Corse Certificate of Attendance

The AACI shall issue a Certificate of Attendance (PDF) for each individual (U.S. resident ) who attends at least 80% of the CACF Review Course and Exam.

Membership in The American Anti-Corruption Institute (AACI)

A CACF is NOT a member of The AACI such as those who hold the Certified Anti-Corruption Manager (CACM) management credential.
